Caregiver app for seniors
The caregiver app for seniors and their doctor visits.
Bowcare is for the person who drives to the appointment, writes the dose on the back of an envelope and gets the phone call afterwards. It keeps each senior's visits, questions, medications and bills in one large-print place you can both read.
No card needed · Works on any phone · Large print by default
What a caregiver actually has to keep track of.
Every appointment in one list
Add the next visit with the doctor, date, time and place. The person you help sees the same screen you do, in large print.
Questions ready for the room
Write questions down when you think of them. They appear on the day, so nothing gets forgotten at the door.
Notes and recordings, with transcripts
Record before, during or after the visit. Audio stays on the phone; the transcript can be emailed to you or another caregiver.
Medication changes flagged
When a dose changes, Bowcare marks it so you can ask about it at the next appointment instead of guessing.
Bills and insurance per person
Track what is owing and which plan covers it. Bowcare keeps the record — it does not take payments or file claims.
More than one person to care for
A caregiver dashboard shows every person you help: next visit, medications, checklists and pending payments on one screen.
How it compares with what you use now.
- Paper notebook
- Easy to start, easy to lose. Nothing is searchable and nobody else can see it.
- Phone notes and photos
- Everything lands in one pile, with no link between a visit, a medicine and a bill.
- A hospital portal
- Good for lab results, but it holds one clinic's view and rarely the questions you meant to ask.
- Bowcare
- Built around the visit itself, for the senior and the family member helping, in print big enough to read.
Sharing without another sign-up.
- Send a private view-only link to the senior or a sibling — no account needed.
- Invite a second caregiver who signs in and can edit the people you shared.
- Email a visit transcript to whoever could not be in the room.
- Turn any link off the moment you want it closed.
Bowcare keeps records for families. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
Questions caregivers ask.
What makes this a caregiver app rather than a health tracker?
Bowcare assumes two people: the senior who attends the visit and the family member who keeps track. Each person you care for has their own visits, medications, checklists and bills, and you can switch between them from one dashboard.
Does the senior need their own account?
No. You can send a private view-only link so they can read their visits, medications and bills in a browser without signing up. You can turn the link off at any time.
Can two family members share the same records?
Yes. Invite another caregiver by link. They sign in with their own account and see only the people you shared with them, as a caregiver who can edit or a viewer who can only read.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, on a phone, tablet or computer. Text starts at 18px, tap targets are large, and every control is reachable by keyboard with a visible focus ring.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start. Create an account, add the next appointment, and see whether it helps before anything else.
Start with the next appointment.
Add one visit and one question, then bring Bowcare to the room. You can invite the rest of the family later.
