Support
Write to support@bowcare.care and a person answers within one business day. Tell us the email address on your account and which screen you were on.
I can't sign in
Use the same way you signed up — email and password, Google, or Apple. If you signed up with email, check your inbox (and junk mail) for the confirmation message. Still stuck, write to support@bowcare.care with the email address you used.
How do I let my sister see Mum's visits?
Setup, then Visits, medicines and checklists, then the Invites tab. Choose Caregiver if she should sign in and help edit, or a view-only link if she should just read it with no account. Both can be turned off any time.
Where are my recordings kept?
In your own private storage in your account, so they play on any phone or computer you sign in on. Nobody else can open them unless you share that person's record with them or send a listen link, which expires after seven days.
The transcript stopped part-way
Recordings are capped at 30 minutes, and very long ones ask before transcribing. If your monthly transcription allowance is used up, Bowcare says so and still saves the recording — you can transcribe later.
I didn't get a reminder before the visit
Reminders are a phone feature: install the app, then Setup, then Visit reminders, and tap Turn on reminders so the phone can allow notifications. Each visit reminds you the number of days ahead you set on the visit.
Can I use Bowcare without an account?
Yes, two ways. Tap Try it without signing in on the first screen for a sandbox with sample data, or open a view-only link someone sent you.
How do I delete everything?
Setup, then Your account, then Delete my account. That removes your profile, everyone you own, all their visits, medicines, bills, notes and recordings. It is permanent.
Is Bowcare medical advice?
No. It is a place to keep what was said so you can read it again later. It does not diagnose and does not replace your doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Accessibility
Bowcare aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA: large text by default that grows with your phone's setting, buttons at least 48px tall, visible focus outlines, and screen-reader labels on every control. If something is hard to read or hard to tap, tell us and we will fix it.
Bowcare is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not give medical advice and does not replace anything your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
